Seeds of Harmony

In Seeds of Harmony, children ages 2-6 enjoy a lively class that consists of song sessions and games that introduce and develop the most important aspects of music, including:

• Ear-training, through Fixed-do Solfege and call and response singing. Fixed-do is known to help build perfect pitch (see the Director’s bio for more).

• Intro to piano, ukulele, drums and more!

• Introduction to notation, including writing notes, treble clefs, and other symbols.

• Rhythm and coordination, Kodaly Rhythms and Two-step Dancing.

• Voice Development We help students find their chest and head voices and encourage them to sing.

Seeds of Harmony builds a comprehensive foundation for a lifetime of competent and confident music-making. It’s also the best way to prepare for private lessons.

• NE PDX: KTL’s locations inside the Children’s Gym and Bethany Lutheran Church.

Pricing

As of September 2023, Seeds of Harmony has added to its curriculum an At-Home component. The At-home course boasts a Duolingo motivational style and portal with our proprietary educational videos, audio applications, music, and more. You'll receive guidance to meet goals and your children will practice the material without it feeling like work!
